Paul F. Garrant passed away at home on Dec. 6th, he was 61. Paul was raised in Malden, attended Malden Schools, lived most of his life in Malden and the past 25 years in Melrose. Paul worked as a bus driver for the MBTA for 23 years, driving routes in the Melrose, Malden & Medford areas. He also worked on the MBTA trains for a number of years. Paul served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War Era and was a member of Local 589 Carmens Union. He was the son of Marjorie F. (Rhodes) Garrant & the late Harry L. Garrant. Brother of Robert E. Garrant, Alfred H. Garrant both of NH and Claire L. Hurley of Melrose. Brother-in-law of Susan Garrant, Marylee Garrant & Charlie Hurley. Longtime companion of Joyce Studley of Malden. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces & nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, on Friday Dec. 10th at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. There are no visiting hours.
