Paul C. Groark died suddenly at home on July 2nd at the age of 67. Paul was born in Boston, raised in Dorchester, graduated from Brighton High School and has been a resident of Melrose the past 40 years. He worked as a truck driver for UPS and was a member of the Teamsters Local #25. Paul was an avid golfer, a member of Mt. Hood Golf Club in Melrose and a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. He was the husband of Dorothy (Gibson) Groark. Father of Paul C. Groark Jr. , William J. Groark both of Melrose, Edward F. Groark, Patrick X. Groark both of Saugus, Dianne M. Courter of NH, Christine M. Groark of Melrose and the late Lt. Stephen A. Groark US Air Force. Brother of Alice Sanderson of CA, Mary Parrott of MI, Charles Groark of Cambridge and the late Margie, Edward, Billy Groark and Helen Sabatino. Also survived by 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter & many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday July 7th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 5-9PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
