Paul R. Grover Jr. passed away suddenly at home on Sunday November 15, 2009. He was 49 years of age. Paul was born in Stoneham, raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1979. A lifelong resident of Melrose, Paul worked at Lake Industries in Stoneham as a shop steward in the sheet metal division for 25 years and then as a clerk for the MBTA the past 5 years. He enjoyed golfing, was an avid Patriots, Bruins & Yankees fan and enjoyed his trips to Maine. Beloved son of Paul R. & Anne M. (Poore) Grover of Melrose. Devoted brother of Cheryl A. Donovan of Wakefield and the late Kenneth E. Grover & his wife Margaret M. Grover of Wakefield. Loving companion of Gail Lacroix of Lawrence. Cherished uncle of Nicole, Katelyn & Lindsay Donovan and Kenneth E. Grover Jr. all of Wakefield. Great uncle of "Little D". Also survived by all the Farry cousins. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Saturday, Nov. 21st at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm.
