Pauline M. Geehan, of Melrose, died at her home on Jan. 11, 2005 at the age of 56. Pauline was born in Chelsea, raised in Melrose and was a graduate of St. Marys High School Class of 1967. She went on to receive a degree from Bunker Hill Community College and worked as an Adjudicator for the Veterans Affair Office at the John F. Kennedy Building in Boston for 35 years until her retirement in 2003. Pauline loved to vacation at Newfound Lake in Bristol, NH, travel to Foxwoods Casino and also Disneyworld in FL. She was the loving daughter of the late John J. & Monica (Halley) Geehan. Devoted sister of Mary A.Wagner, Patrick J., Shelia M., Eileen A., and Bridget M. Geehan, all of Melrose, John J. Jr., & Margaret H. Geehan, both of FL., Alice P. Hall of Dracut, James P. Geehan of VT, Monica E. Marcotte of NH and the late Kathleen M. Geehan. Also survived by many nieces & nephews and grand nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday Jan. 14th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
