Obituary

Pauline A. (Yeaton) Talbot passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on March 12, 2008; she was 89 years of age. Pauline was born in Medford, raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School, Class of 1935. Pauline lived in Somerville for many years, where she was involved with the Eastern Star and was Worthy Matron in 1965. Mrs. Talbot was a former member of the 1st Congregational Church in Somerville, the Broadway Methodist Church and has been a Melrose resident for the past 14 years. Pauline was a homemaker, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics and crosswords puzzles. Mrs. Talbot also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. She was the wife of the late Owen Curley & Warren Talbot. Mother of Eugene E. Curley of Methuen, Clyde D. Curley of Chelmsford, Margaret L. Brine of NJ, Kenneth G. Curley of Dorchester, Pauline A. Mazzone of Melrose, Aleta R. Cromack of Colrain and Hazelle E. McWilliams of Reading. Sister of the late Helen Mooney. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchilden and her late grandson Scott Cromack . Funeral services will be held at The Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sat. March 15th at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Sat. morning from 10-11AM. Burial will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline PL. West 6th Floor, Brookline 02445. or the Mohawk Athletic Assoc., 24 Ashfield Rd. Shelburne Falls, 01370.
