Peter Paul Antonuccio of Melrose passed away at his home on Saturday, December 30, 2006, surrounded by his loving family & friends. He was 58 years old. Born in Winthrop to Elsie (Odierno) Antonuccio & the late John S. Antonuccio, Peter was raised in East Boston and a graduate of East Boston High School, class of 1967. He was a resident of Melrose since 1976. Mr. Antonuccio worked as the facilities manager of the East Boston Courthouse for 28 years. Because of his dedicated work at the courthouse, his memory will live on through The Peter Antonuccio Juvenile Court Room # 2 named after him in 2005. Peter loved his 5 children, his garden, fishing, playing the guitar, Florida, and watching the Red Sox & Patriots. He was a coach with The Incarnation Baseball League for 8 years. Helping kids from T-Ball right up to Babe Ruth. Peter was the devoted husband of Maria (Guide) Antonuccio. Loving father of Peter P. Jr. & his wife Kerri of Revere, Robert J. also of Revere, Joseph P. of Quincy, John R. & Sarah M. both of Melrose. Son of Elsie (Odierno) & the late John Antonuccio. Caring brother of Rosemarie Lauletta & her husband Tony of Revere & John S. & his wife Diane of FL. Uncle of Anthony & Michael Lauletta & John, III & Marc Antonuccio. Cherished grandfather of Gabrielle. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wed. Jan.3rd at 9AM.
