Peter Warren Kinney from Lawrence MA, died March 1 0th, 2026. He was 83 years old. He was born. On September 16th, 1943. His parents were Elsie (Pullo) Kinney and Warren Kinney. His brother was David Howard Kinney, deceased, of South Carolina, and his sister, Lydia (Kinney) Bourque of New Hampshire. He is survived by two sons, Todd Kinney, of Connecticut and Darden Kinney of California, and his former wife Sandra of Connecticut. He had two granddaughters, Brianna Lee and Serena Paige Kinney of Connecticut. Nephews Christopher and Brian Bourque both deceased of Melrose. Matthew Bourque of Melrose MA, and Justin Bourque of California. He was a graduate of Melrose High School. Glass of '63, where he played varsity hockey. He was a USAF veteran serving in the field of radio repair. Peter was an accomplished carpenter and woodworker, having made many furniture pieces from buffets to tables, all with elaborate wood inlaid designs. Peter was a music fan; he particularly enjoyed Blue Grass music. Fishing and boating were among his other favorite pastimes. He enjoyed BBQing, and was known for his whole pig roasts.

A Graveside service will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan Street, Melrose. Please go directly to the cemetery and we will meet inside of the main gate on Sylvan St. Family & Friend's respectfully invited to attend.
