Philip J. "Jim" Constantine, of Peabody, died at the Renaissance Garden Nursing Home at Brooksby Village in Peabody on Sept. 11, 2012 at the age of 93. Jim was born in Cambridge and raised in Wilmington & Arlington. He went on to earn his degree from Bentley College and attended classes at Harvard Business School. Jim served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during WWII. He worked as a Senior Vice President for Jordon Marsh for over 40 years before his retirement. Jim resided in Lincoln for 48 years and enjoyed the Patriots, Red Sox, fishing, working in his garden and traveling to Alaska, Hawaii and Las Vegas. He was the beloved husband of Katherine P. (Hefler) Constantine. Caring brother of John Constantine and his wife Judy of FL. Devoted uncle of Claudia Minors and Pamela Driscoll, both of Arlington, William Hefler of FL and Andrea O'Connell of Stoneham. Dear friend of Nick Stavropoulos of Ipswich. A graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery, Sylvan St., Melrose on Saturday Sept. 15th at 12:00PM. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W.
