Phyllis M. (Ancillo) Bucciero passed away at her home in Melrose on October 26, 2016 on her 89th Birthday. Phyllis was born in Winchester on October 26, 1927, was raised in Revere, graduated from Revere High School and lived in Revere most of her life before moving to Melrose in 2010. Mrs. Bucciero worked in the personnel department for the Metropolitan District Commission (MDC) for over 15 years. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church in Revere and a current member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield. Phyllis loved to cook and bake and enjoyed spending time with her late husband Michael in Boca Raton, Florida. Mrs. Bucciero was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Bucciero. Loving mother of Michael A. Bucciero Jr. of Washington D.C. and Patricia B. Perrotta & her late husband Paul of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Bucciero & his wife Stephanie, Caroline Bucciero all of CA and Nicholas Perrotta of Melrose. Proud great grandmother of Jack & Charlie Bucciero. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 3:00PM-6:00PM. Funeral from Gately Funeral Home on Monday October 31st at 12:15PM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 1:15PM. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
