Phyllis C. (McGraham) Conway died at Winchester Hospital on Friday May 31st at the age of 80. She was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School and has been a lifelong resident. Phyllis worked for 10yrs in the billing department at Melrose Wakefield Hospital and has been a longtime member of the Green St. Baptist Church in Melrose. She was the wife of the late Arthur W. Conway. Mother of Diane Stella & her husband Robert of W.Yarmouth, Sandra Cadigan & her husband Neil of Reading, Walter Conway & his wife Maryellen of Melrose and Roger Conway & his wife Carolyn of Mansfield. Grandmother of Christina Feldcamp of Melrose, John Cadigan of Reading, Galen Frizzie of Melrose, Jamie Conway of Mansfield, Scott, Justin and Chris Conway all of Melrose. Great grandmother of Catherine Feldcamp. Funeral services will be held at Green St. Baptist Church 179 Green St. Melrose on Wed. June 5th at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W.Foster St. Melrose on Tues. from 4-8PM. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery Stoneham.
