Phyllis A. (D'Ovidio) DiCiaccio, of Malden, passed away on March 7, 2023 at the age of 95 years old. Phyllis was born on August 15, 1927 to the late Antonio and Maria Vincenza D'Ovidio.

Phyllis was known to her family and friends as the "cookie lady"  She loved baking cookies for her family and friends.

Loving wife of the late James J. "Jack" DiCiaccio. Devoted mother to the late Theresa Merzon. Cherished grandmother of Lisa Harkins and her husband James of Peabody, Alan Merzon and his wife Rebecca Of San Jose, California. Loving great grandmother to Natalie, Rachel, Joshua, Lorelei and James. Sister of the late Anna DiNitto and the late Jenny DiBiase both of Somerville. Former mother-in-law of Paul Merzon and his current wife Aphrodite Spiros. Phyllis is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St, Malden at 10:00 AM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
