Phyllis K. Keating, 82, died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Saturday after a brief illness. Born and raised in E. Boston, she graduated from East Boston High,and has been a Melrose resident for the past 43 years. Phyllis was a sales clerk at Jordan Marsh Co in Boston for over 30 years. She was the wife of the late William T. Keating. Mother of David M. Keating of Melrose. Sister of Lorraine Mayo of Stoneham and Eileen Smith of Calif. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
