Raffaela M. "Ella" Rossi, of Melrose, passed away at her home on August 12, 2023, at 94 years of age.

Ella was born & raised in East Boston and is a graduate of East Boston High School. She moved to Everett and was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Everett. Ella loved to dance and was a great dancer. Her and her husband Eddie would dance together all of the time. She enjoyed going to the casinos and traveling to Italy, Aruba and Bermuda. Ella and Eddie resided in Wakefield & Melrose for many years and loved to spend their summers at their home on Cape Cod. Family & many friends were the most important part of her life.

Ella was the beloved wife of the late Euplio "Eddie" Rossi. Devoted daughter of the late Gerardo & Maria Cianciarullo. Caring sister of the late Peter Chance & his late wife Mary. Cherished aunt of Marilisa Freni & her husband Christopher of Wakefield and the late Joseph Chance. Great aunt of Taylor, & Christina Freni.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ella's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
