Raimonda Aldona Yetton of Melrose passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on December 23rd, 2025 at 77 years of age.

Born on February 19, 1948 to Irene Puzinauskas and Vladas Panavas in Kempten, Germany, Raimonda moved the United States, living in Georgia as a child and relocating with her mother and sister to Melrose where she spent the majority of her life, graduating from Melrose High School in in 1966 and eventually starting her own family and raising a son.

Raimonda had many passions including reading, knitting, watching movies, cooking for her family, hosting Christmas dinner, and taking friends and family alike on trips to Walt Disney World. She also loved cats, owning several throughout her life. In her younger days she was an avid traveler and still managed to visit Europe with family in her later years.

She is fondly remembered by all who knew her for being a giving, caring individual who always made time for others. She exemplified the virtues of hard work and perseverance, working as a credit manager for as long as she was physically able.

Raimonda leaves behind her devoted son, Ethan Yetton, and his partner Tara Drake, her dedicated sister Virginia Chernosky, a loving brother Ray Panavas and his wife Kerry, brother Mik Panavas, sister Jone Panavas, and a decades-long friend (and honorary family member) Laura Glennon.
