Buccilli
August 13, 1951 – March 29, 2025
Ralph was born in Boston on August 13th 1951 and passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on March 29th 2025. Ralph was the son of the late Ralph Buccilli and Anna (Giammanco) Buccilli, loving husband of Jane (Carroll) Buccilli and devoted father to his two daughters Paula Buccilli and Lisa Buccilli.
Ralph was raised in Melrose and lived his 73 years of life in his childhood home.
Ralph and Jane met in 1985 and were married for 34 beautiful years.
Ralph graduated from Melrose High School in 1970 and moved on to be a machinist at TRW followed by a 24-year career at The Gillette Company in South Boston. While at Gillette, Ralph was a Group Leader and Supervisor of treatment in the Blades department for many years before becoming a Researcher in the R&D department. While at Gillette he made many friends who describe him as hard working, selfless and genuinely kind. He was considered a strong mentor to many who worked with him.
Ralph was always happiest spending quality time with his wife, daughters, family and friends. Ralph was a big Patriots fan and enjoyed bowling in his Gillette league, playing cards, vacationing in Aruba and Old Orchard Beach. Ralph was a longtime member at the Melrose Fish & Game and VFW where he enjoyed spending time with numerous dear friends.
Ralph is survived by his sister Marie (Buccilli) Ditoro and her late husband Robert Ditoro of Loudon NH, his sister Jane (Buccilli) Stickney and her husband Richard Stickney of Malden, and pre-deceased by his brother Philip Buccilli. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Procession from the Gately Funeral Home on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 9:00AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
