IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Regina A.
Beeman
January 15, 1929 – April 20, 2024
Regina A. Beeman of Malden passed away on April 20, 2024, at age 95. She was the beloved wife of 53 years of the late George F. Beeman, Jr. Born in Somerville, she was the adored daughter of the late Angus Roderick McNeil and Margaret Florence Campbell.
Regina is survived by her loving children, Gregory F. Beeman of Malden and Maria Beeman Palomino and her husband Manuel of Wakefield, and her cherished granddaughter, Liliana Grace Palomino.
Regina will long be remembered for her winning personality, infectious laugh, and innate gift of storytelling. She spent her long life in the company of her family and many cherished friends, welcoming one and all to her Malden home where she resided for some 56 years.
A gifted office administrator, Regina worked her way up from the secretarial pool to branch manager over a career that spanned 40 years. She relished time with family and friends, long weekends on Cape Cod, reading, watching sporting events with her favorite neighbors, and dining out. She especially enjoyed a good martini with a twist or a glass of barrel-aged Chardonnay with dinner, which was always an occasion for a toast. She truly enjoyed life.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, April 24 from 4–7:00 p.m. at the Gately Funeral Home, located at 79 West Foster Street, Melrose, followed by a funeral service on April 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Regina's family wishes to thank her wonderful caregivers, Ruth Oathout and Kathy Murphy as well as the staff at CareOne in Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Bread of Life.
