Obituary

Reta (Griffin) Hinchley passed away at the Jean Jugan Residence, in Somerville, on May 11, 2006. She was 95 years of age. Reta was born and raised in Lynn, graduated from Lynn High School, she lived in Arlington for 22 years, Melrose for many years and the past several years in Somerville. Mrs. Hinchley worked as a clerk for the State Street Bank in Boston for a number of years, she was a former member of St. Marys Church in Melrose, the 200 Club and Community Associates in Melrose. Reta was the wife of the late Clarence E. Hinchley. Mother of William A. Hinchley of Boston. Sister of Catherine Fitz of Beverly. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Jeanne Jugan Residence(Little Sisters of the Poor), 186 Highland Ave. in Somerville, on Monday May 15th at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the Mass on Monday morning from 9:30-10:30AM. Interment in Hope Cemetery in Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave. Somerville 02143. Arrangements by Gately Funeral Home Melrose.
