Richard W. Grumpy Dorman, of Melrose, formerly of Everett, died at the Epoch Senior Healthcare in Melrose on Dec. 27, 2004 at the age of 77. Richard was born and raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School. He was a WWII Army Veteran, a member of the Teamsters Local 25 and worked as a truck driver for the Schlitz Brewing Company for many years. He was the loving father of Bevely L. Dorman of Everett, Debra E. Ingersoll and her husband Don of FL., Mary G. Gillespie of Melrose and the late Cathy E. Griffin. Former husband of Ruth Dorman. Brother of Robert Dorman of Danvers, Lois Davis of Saugus, Fred Dorman of FL. and the late John Dorman. Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, Friday, Dec. 31st., at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited.
