Obituary

Richard A. Rick Farry, Jr. of Malden, passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 54. He was a lifelong Malden resident and a graduate of Malden High School, class of 1970. Rick was the son of the late Eleanor (Poore) Farry & Richard Farry, Sr. He was the devoted husband of Jeanne M. (Dolan) Farry with whom he shared 33 years of happiness. Loving father of Richard A. Farry, III & his wife Rebeccah of Quincy & Amy E. (Farry) Eloufir wife of Mounssef of Malden. Caring brother of Deborah Stelmach, Sandra Martineau, Patricia Gillespie, & Thomas Farry, all of Malden, Karen Noonan & David Farry, both of N. Andover. Loved by his mother in law Eileen Dolan of Melrose & many brother & sister in laws, nieces & nephews. Proud grandfather to be. Rick was a part of the management team with Moynihan Lumber for 11 years, where he loved his work and was treated like part of the family with Moynihan. Mr. Farry was a member of the Army National Guard for 10 years and served as a Sergant E7. He enjoyed his children, road trips with Jeanne, golf, fishing, and his work. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, Tuesday, August 30 at 9 AM. Funeral service in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St., Wakefield, at 10 AM. Family & friends respectively invited. Visiting hours Mon., 4-8 PM. Burial in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Donations in Ricks memory may be made to The Jimmy Fund 375 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA 02115.
