Richard O. Fiore passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Monday May 24th, at the age of 67. Richard was born in Boston, raised in Somerville and has lived in Melrose for the past 35 years. He worked as a truck driver for B&T Trucking in Boston for many years and was a member of the Teamsters Local 25. Richard served in the National Guard, was a member of the Melrose Elks and St. Mary's Church in Melrose. He was the husband of Maureen P. (Walsh) Fiore. Son of the late Catherine Campano. Father of Kim Lucente of NH & Ricky Lucente of AZ. Step father of Tracy M. DellaRusso of Melrose, John K. Campbell & Timothy R. Campbell both of FL. Brother of John Riley of Charlestown, Joseph Pallmisano of Somerville, Anthony Palmisano of East Boston Cheryl Damata of Roslindale, Marcia Buckley of Somerville and the late Carol Ann Frene. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday May 28th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs. 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
