Richard C. Fuller of Melrose passed away at his home on May 10, 2008 after a lengthy illness. He was only 58 years old. Born on June 28, 1949 in Melrose to the late Arlan & Rita S. (Fortier) Fuller, he was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, class of 1967. Mr. Fuller was a self-employed plumber for many years. He enjoyed golf, ice hockey, watching football, fixing things around the house and having a beer. He helped take care of his father with his step-mom while his dad was suffering from Alzheimer's disease, all while going through his own chemotherapy. However, his greatest joy was the many wonderful years he shared with his family at the camp in Alton Bay, NH. Richard was a great water skier, fisherman and he loved boating. He was the cherished father of Shaunna M. Theriault of NH, Grandfather of Kyle Drouin & Cody Theriault. Great grandfather of Ariana Drouin. Loving son of the late Arlan F., Sr. & Rita S. (Fortier) Fuller. Loving stepson of Mary P. (McDonald) Fuller. Caring brother of Dr. Arlan F. Fuller, Jr. & his wife Alice of Winchester & William L. Fuller & his wife Ellen of Maine. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Fuller of Dracut. Also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins. Funeral arrangements are private.
