Richard P. Houghton, 50, died at home Friday night, unexpectedly. He was born and raised in Beverly, he graduated from Beverly High School in 1969. He had been employed at the Boston Acooustics Co. for the past 4yrs as Customer Service Representitive. Fiancee of Lisa D. Boyden of Melrose. Father of Kristina M. Houghton of Melrose. Son of the late Francis and Ernestine ( Gay) Houghton. Brother of Nancy Houghton of TN, and the late David Houghton. A Celebration of Rich's Life will be held in the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St, Melrose on Tuesday June 11 at 8:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours from 6:30 to 8:30 pm prior to the Celebration.
