Richard A. Incerto Jr., died surrounded by family on March 18, 2016 at the age of 57. Richard was born in Chelsea, MA on September 3, 1958 to Richard A. Sr. & Nicoletta L. (Griffo) Incerto. He was raised in Chelsea and graduated from Pope John High School in 1976. Richard continued is education at Worcester Industrial Technical Institute where he studied to become an Optometrist. Richard went on to own and operate Melrose Family Opticians. He was very proud of the business and cared deeply for his customers who all loved him. Besides his passion for his work, Richard was most passionate about golf. He was a member of Wenham Country Club and played in the weekly Postal Worker Golf League at Mt. Hood Golf Course in Melrose. Golf was everything to him. When he wasn't golfing, Richard was most likely spending time with his large family. He was a true family man; he was a great husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend. It was impossible not to love him. Richard lived life to the fullest, he loved to travel, drag race, and eat good food. He also loved old vintage cars. Richard will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. He was the loving husband of Terry (Monahan) Incerto of 25 years. Beloved son of Richard A. Sr. & Nicoletta L. (Griffo) Incerto, of Chelsea. Caring brother of Roni Melisi. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and friends. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 3-8 PM at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Church, 250 Revere St., Revere, MA at 11 AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
