Rita A. (Harrison) Chepulis passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2007; she was 56 years of age. Rita was born in Boston, raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School. She worked in the deli department at Heartland Foods, at Petes Subs in Melrose and for many years as a nurses aid in several nursing homes in Melrose & Malden. Rita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, arts & crafts, country music and the Beatles. Loving wife of Edward A. Chepulis. Mother of Alexander E. Chepulis & his wife Bobbi of Beverly, Amy L. Brown & her husband Christopher of Lynn, Jason P. Chepulis & his fiance Jennifer of Melrose and Tracy A. Hebert & her husband Christopher of Malden. Sister of Robert Harrison of Melrose & Joanne Harrison of FL. Grandmother of Charles, Ashley, Jenna, Katelyn, Tyler, Alyssa, Kailey, Addisyn & Lorelai. Funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Saturday Dec. 1st, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
