Rita B. (Rogan) Tully, of Nahant, formerly of Melrose, died at the Jesmond Nursing Home in Nahant on Oct. 20, 2009 at the age of 84. Rita was born in Boston & raised in Roxbury & Dorchester and attended Dorchester schools. She resided in Hyde Park for a few years, Peabody for 34 years, Vero Fl for 5 years and Melrose for 6 years. Rita was a piano teacher in Peabody for over 20 years and a member of St. Mary's Rosary Group in Melrose. She enjoyed excerise & fitness and spending time with her family. Rita was the beloved wife of the late John J. Tully for 49 years. Loving mother of Maureen E. Tully of Peabody and the late Joanne M. Miller. Cherished grandmother of Marilyn J. Tully of NC. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22nd at 11AM at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Deacon Frank Valeri from Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield will be officiating at graveside.
