Robert F. Ebrecht died at home Wednesday morning October 17th after a lengthy illness at the age of 62. He was born and raised in Boston and graduated from Boston English High School. He entered the AirForce after High School and served in the Airforce for several years. Robert had lived in Somerville for 10yrs, Medford for several years and Melrose the past 30 yrs. He was an electrician at Polaroid Corp for 35 yrs retiring on Aug 31 2001. Robert was a member of VFW Lt. Norman Prince Post # 1506 and VFW Sgt. Harold O. Young Post # 2394 in Melrose. He was the husband of Elizabeth J. ( Godfrey ) Ebrecht. Father of Steven J. Ebrecht of Wakefield, Wayne D. Ebrecht of Melrose and Kelly A. Belbin of Medford. Grandfather of Randy, Jacqueline, Ashley, Luke, Kevin, Kenneth and Andrea. Brother of BartholemewEbrecht of Dorchester, Martha Reid of Wollaston, Thomas Ebrecht of Boston and the late John and Harold Ebrecht. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
