Robert D. "Danny" Lane, of Malden, passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on July 19, 2022, at the age of 72. Danny was the beloved husband of the late Helen G. (Jackman) Robins. Loving father of Kerry Anne Lane of CA. Caring brother of James B. Lane & his wife Diana of Melrose. Stepfather of Cheryl Raczynski of FL, Stanley Raczynski of Malden, Joanne Trombley of Malden, Robert Robins of FL and the late Michael Raczynski. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday, July 25, 2022, from 3:00-6:00PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00PM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Danny's name to Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867.
