Robert F. MacDougall, of Melrose, died at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Nov. 6, 2005 at the age of 84. Bob was born & raised in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1938. He served in the Army during WWII and worked as a Foreman for Kyanize Paints in Everett for 48 years. Bob lived in Everett for 16 years, Melrose for 42 years and was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield for many years. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary W. (Shine) MacDougall for 60 years. Loving Father of David R. MacDougall & his wife Carlene of NH, Robert G. MacDougall of Melrose, devoted father of Matthew, Stephen W. MacDougall & his wife Irene of ME and Rosemary L. Goudreau & her husband Roger of N. Andover. Caring brother of Bernard MacDougall of Melrose and the late Emma Donovan and Hector Tom MacDougall. Cherished grandfather of Robert & John Goudreau, Ryan, Jarrid and Matthew MacDougall. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday Nov. 9th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
