Robert S. McKinnon of Melrose, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on November 2, 2023 at the age of 87.

Robert was born August 27, 2023 in Boston.

Robert was married to the love of his life Ruth E. (Riley) McKinnon. They went on to spend 55 years together and raised two wonderful sons.

Robert enjoyed reading, cats, wild birds and most of all Boston's sports teams including the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and the Celtics. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren Andrew & Molly.

Robert was the beloved husband of Ruth E. (Riley) McKinnon who he cherished with all his heart. Loving father of Stephen McKinnon & his wife Debra Heroux of Chelmsford, Thomas McKinnon & his wife Lissa of Franklin. Grandfather of Andrew & Molly. Caring brother of John McKinnon & his wife Eileen of Norwood, Late Richard McKinnon, Late Betty McKinnon, Late Claire Pace and the Late Mary Michalowski.

Funeral Services for Robert will be private.
