Robert Bob Williams, of Melrose, died on Feb. 25, 2005 at the age of 82. Bob was born in Everett, raised in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School Class of 1941. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and avid Notre Dame Fan. Bob was the owner of Bobs Market in Melrose since 1949. He started his career at the age of 12 as a Soda Jerk in the same building where Bobs Market stands today. He was the caring brother of Roberta Vizard of Andover, Richard Foster & his wife Violet, Joan Tiek, all of FL and the late Adam Foster and his wife Julie. Also survived by his close friend Sandy Bates & her husband John of Melrose and many nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday March 2, 2005 at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM.
