Robert L. Wyeth died at Lahey Clinic in Burlington on July 18th at the age of 77. He was born and raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School. Robert entered the US Navy after high school and was a decorated WWII Navy Veteran. Robert became disabled during WWII and has lived in Malden most of his life. He was a member of the VFW Harold O'Young Post #2394 in Melrose. Robert was the son of the late Harold K. & Laura M. ( White ) Wyeth. Brother of Barbara Carozza, Marie Whelpley, William Wyeth, Frank Wyeth, Kenneth Wyeth and George Wyeth and the late Harold Wyeth and Lillian Comeau. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Wed July 23 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited Visiting hours Tues 4 - 8 PM. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery Malden.
