Roger A. Nadeau passed away at the Dexter House in Malden on May 26, 2019. He was 55 years of age. Roger was born in Melrose on June 24, 1963 to John & Martha Nadeau. He was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School in 1981, and has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. A plumber by trade, Roger loved fishing, boating and enjoyed spending time vacationing in Florida and Cape Cod; during his childhood he enjoyed summers in South Harpswell, Maine with family. Roger was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Most of all, Roger cherished spending time with his children. Mr. Nadeau was the former husband of Carol (Gibelli) Nadeau. Father of Antonina & Roger Nadeau both of Melrose. Son of Martha (Fisher) Flynn of Sandwich and the late John H. Nadeau. Brother of the late John D. Nadeau. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, on Thursday June 6, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
