Roland D. Grumpy Amirault passed away at the Life Care Center in Stoneham, on February 11, 2007, he was 69. Roland was born and raised in Malden, graduated from Malden Vocational High School, he lived in Melrose for 40 years and the past 5 years in Florida. Mr. Amirault worked at his fathers gas station, Lester Sunoco on Lebanon St. in Melrose for 25 years and then was the owner of Amirault Overhead Door Company of Melrose for 25 years. He was an avid woodworker who loved his trips to Disney World. Roland was the beloved husband of Lois B. (Sullivan) Amirault. Devoted father of Jerry T. Amirault & his wife Linda of Rockland and Kevin J. Amirault & his wife Maura of Reading. Loving brother of Gertrude DEntremont of N. Reading & the late Anna Amirault. Loving grandfather of Lauren & Catie Amirault. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A celebration of Rolands life will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday Feb. 16th, from 4-8PM. Family & friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private.
