Ronald C. DeVellis, formerly of Somerville & Cambridge, passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 81. Ronald was born in Somerville, MA on November 8, 1939, to Cosmo "Charlie" and Vincenza Rose (DiFazio) DeVellis. He was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. Ronald spent most of his life living in Somerville and Cambridge. He joined the US Army Reserves after high school. He also worked in construction with his brother, insurance sales for John Hancock, and later drove limousines for Coach Limo. Ronald was the husband of Lorraine Edgerley. Father of Diane DeVellis of Wakefield, Ronald C. DeVellis Jr. of Middleboro, and Michelle DeVellis of Wakefield. Brother of Cosmo DeVellis & his wife Susan of FL, and Dr. Kenneth DeVellis & his wife Lois of Melrose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private.
