Ronald P. Rosati, 63, died at Winchester Hospital, Monday, after a brief illness. Born in Melrose, he was raised in Wakefield, Ron was a Melrose resident for 15 years prior to moving to Stoneham 20 years ago. During the mid 1950's he joined the Army Reserves and served at Camp Curtis Guild until they discovered that he was only 17 years old and he received an honorable discharge. Ron was a manager at Joe's Market in Wakefield and later at Lucci's Market in Wilmington. He was a parishioner at St Patrick's Church. Stoneham. Ron was the husband of Mary C. ( Willwerth) Rosati. Father of Ronald P. Rosati Jr of Stoneham, Lori Ann Sheehan of Waterville ME and Kerry M. Rosati of Stoneham.Grandfather of Jennifer , John Sheehan & Jason Sheehan. Son of Ethel (Molanson) Rosati of Wakefieldand the late Salvatore Rosati. Brother of William S. Rosati of Wakefield, Robert S. Rosati of NH and Pearl Rosati of Wakefield. Also survived by3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funera; Home 79 W Foster St, Melrose on Fri May 9 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Patrick Church, 71 Center St. Stoneham at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs 4 - 7 PM.
