Rose E. Bello died at Mass General Hospital in Boston on June 26th after a brief illness at the age of 74. She was born in Winchester and was a lifelong Melrose resident. Rose graduated from St Mary's Grammar and attended St. Mary's High School. She was a office clerk at National Radio in Melrose for over 40 years and retired in the mid 1980's. Rose was the wife of the late George Bello. Daughter of the late Americo & Magdalena ( DeFranco) DiBona. Sister of Catherine W. Giangrande of W. Medford and the late Mary M. DiTonno. Also survived by longtime companion Rudolph Trulli of Melrose and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Monday July 1 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 7 PM. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
