Rose E. (White) Benard died after a long illness at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmingon August 7th at the age of 100. She was born in Wood's Harbor Nova Scotia, raised in Nova Scotia and came to Everett MA at the age of 14. Rose was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Melrose. She was a longtime member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene of Malden. Rose was the wife of the late Frank F. Benard. Mother of Ernest S. Benard of Falmouth, Robert S. Benard of Burlington, June E. Maserian of Alton Bay, NH and the late Edward H. Benard. Sister of Grace Evans of Melrose and the late Joseph, Raymond and Beatrice White. Also survived by13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral Services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 529 Eastern Ave, Malden, Friday Aug 9 at 10 AM. There are no visiting hours. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
