Rose (Coviello) DeSantis passed away at Winchester Nursing Center on Nov. 2nd, she was 87. Rose was born and raised in Wakfield and lived in Melrose most of her life. She was a homemaker and worked as a nurses aid at the Elmhurst Nursing Home in Melrose for 30 years, retiring in 1999 at the age of 83.Rose was the wife of the late Frank DeSantis. Mother of Rosemarie Carey of Marblehead and Carol Pagni of CA. Sister of Elizabeth Mitchell of Melrose & the late Christopher Coviello. Grandmother of David Carey & his fiance Amy Powers, Carolyn Martin & her husband Sean, Christina Buck & her husband Scott, Catherine & Patrick John Pagni. Great grandmother of Ella Rose, Harrison Edward and Quinn Casey Martin. Aunt of Kenneth & Linda Mitchell of Melrose as well as several other nieces and nephews.
