Rose Marie (Giorgi) DiPirro of Melrose, died on Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Winchester Hospital at the age of 84. Born on July 4, 1926 in Naugatuck, CT, she was a daughter to the late Primo & Angela Giorgi and was raised in Dorchester. Ms. DiPirro had been a Melrose resident since 1965. Rose enjoyed reading Mystery Novels, sitting on her front porch watching the world go by and the Wheel of Fortune. She was the devoted mother of Richard B. DiPirro of Glendale, CA & Eileen DiPirro of Danvers. A funeral service was held in the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, March 5th at 10AM. Deacon Frank Valeri officiated.
