Rose M. (DiNatale) Frongillo passed away at the Youville Hospital in Cambridge, on Saturday, March 28, 2009. She was 79 years of age. Rose was born in Malden to the late G. Antonino & Giulia (DeSimone) DiNatale, was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School, Class of 1947. Mrs. Frongillo has been a resident of Stoneham for the past 49 years. She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for the Tambone Corporation in Reading for 9 years and then for Richard Dean Associates of Woburn for 5 years. Rose was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family. She was a talented pianist, enjoyed writing, puzzles, fitness and learning the Italian language. Mrs. Frongillo loved flowers, gardening and liked spending time at the Stoneham Senior Center dancing & square dancing. Rose was the devoted wife of the late S. William Frongillo. Beloved mother of Carmine W. Frongillo & his wife Mary of Haverhill, Joseph A. Frongillo & his wife Nancy of Milford, William J. Frongillo & his wife Susan of Hopedale and Mary E. Grimm & her husband Brad of Reading. Cherished grandmother of Brett, Nathan, Matthew, Anthony, Selena, Brianna Frongillo, Sofia & Elizabeth Grimm. Loving sister of Frances Cerulle of Melrose & Julie Roberts of Billerica. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. April 1st at 8:45AM. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham, at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8PM.
