Rose (Signoriello) Zaino, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Nov. 13, 2010 at the age of 91. Rose was born & raised in Mansfield and a graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1937. She resided in Everett for 14 years and lived in Melrose since 1958. Rose worked in her father's store "Bills Market" in Stoneham & Woburn and also Cerretani's Market in Melrose for several years. She was the beloved wife of the late Alighiero A. "Al" Zaino. Loving mother of Irene R. Watkins & her late husband James of Stratford, CT and Paul A. Zaino & his wife Eileen of Melrose. Caring sister of Lucey Signoriello of Melrose, Loretta Pree of Medford and the late Theresa Mastascusa, Ralph Signoriello and Ann Signoriello. Cherished grandmother of Kellie Watkins-Colwell, Liza Zaino, Kevin Zaino and Christopher Zaino. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday Nov. 17th at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rose's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
