Rosemarie (Pilato) Sforza passed away in Lynnfield on Thursday, October 21, 2010. Rosemarie was born in Boston to the late Anthony & Catherine (Siciliano) Pilato, raised in the South End, graduated from Girls High in the South End and from D'Anthony School of Cosmetology. Mrs. Sforza was a licensed cosmetologist working for Amando of Italy in Arlington for a few years and Count Down Beauty Salon in North Cambridge for many years. Rosemarie read the Boston Globe every day inside and out, like dining, going to the theater on Broadway in New York City, traveling and spending time with her daughter, son in law and grandchildren. She was the Loving mother of Deborah Scarborough & her husband Gary of Lynnfield. Devoted sister of Dorothy Tulchinsky of Peabody, Gloria Babineau of FL & ME, Barbara Coletti of NC, Joanna Botolino of Merrimac, MA and the late Irene Murphy. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Ryan & Dana Scarborough. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday October 25th at 8:45AM. A Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Rosemarie will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 758 Salem St. Lynnfield at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 4:00-8:00PM. Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden.
