Rosemary E. (Forrester) Walsh passed away at the Epoch Senior Care in Melrose, on February 28, 2007; she was 92 years of age 92. Rosemary was born in Boston, raised in Jamaica Plain and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Mrs. Walsh lived in Jamaica Plain until 1957, Roslindale from 1957 to 1976, Centerville for 17 years and the past 9 years in Melrose. She worked as a secretary in the Administration Building for Harvard University at the Arnold Arboretum from 1961 1976. Rosemary was a former member of the Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. Mrs. Walsh was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Walsh. Mother of Hugh T. Walsh & his wife Veronica of Melrose, Thomas R. Walsh & his wife Terri of Ashland. Sister of the late Marjorie Hatch. Grandmother of Maura Walsh of Westford, Matthew Walsh of Centerville, Jennifer Zawislak of Taunton and Ryan Walsh of Norton. Great grandmother of Hope, Luke & Morgan. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sat. March 3rd at 8AM. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited.
