Rudolph A. Trulli SR, 78, died at Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 14th after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Malden, was a longtime resident of Malden before moving to Melrose 14 years ago. Rudy served in the Army during WW II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Mr.. Trulli was a steel worker/fabricator at the former Zurbach Steel Co of Somerville and the former Crystal Steel Co of Salem NH. He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie E. (Breagy) Trulli and longtime companion of the late Rose Bello. Loving father of Ruldolph A. Trulli Jr & his wife Sheila of Malden and Paul M. Trulli & his wife Christine also of Malden. Grandfather of Deborah Athey of FL, Laura K., Jacob M., and Brian C. Trulli all of Malden. Brother of Mary DiGiantomaso of Malden, Josephine Holbrook of OH, Jeannette Santonelli of Malden, Marjorie Anzalone of Brockton and the late Sophie Frizoni, Carl Trulli and Alfred Trulli. Brother- in-law of Kay Trulli of Malden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St. Melrose on Thurs. Sept 18th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wed 4 -8 PM. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
