Ruggerio E. 'Geno' DiGregorio passed away at Epoch Senior Care & Rehab Center in Melrose, on June 3rd, at the age of 78. Geno was born in Boston, raised in East Boston and moved to Melrose in 1962. He worked in the transportation department for the BLH Electronics Company in Waltham for 15 years and for Pepi's Chain Dye Company in East Boston for 10 years. He was the husband of the late Claire B. (Fernandez) DiGregorio. Father of Eugene M. DiGregorio & his wife Joanne of Melrose. Brother of Rose Scanelli of Revere. Grandfather of Roger M. DiGregorio of FL, Tamara L. Josti & her husband Timothy of E. Brookfield and Dean J. DiGregorio of Melrose. Great grandfather of Cody James Josti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday June 7th, at 8AM. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8PM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
