Ruth E. Dillon, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Feb. 24, 2007 at the age of 85. Ruth was born & raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1939. She worked as a Packer for the Market Forge Comp. in Chelsea for over 31 years. Ruth resided in Melrose since 1986 and was a member of the 200 Club in Melrose. She was the devoted sister of Margaret P. McIsaac & her late husband Joseph of Wakefield, George K. Dillon & his wife Norma of Stockbridge and Edward F. Dillon & his wife Vivian of Hillsboro, NH. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, MA on Wed. Feb. 28th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
