Ruth M. (Chambers) Peabody died February 23, 2005 at the Epoch Senior Health Center in Melrose at the age of 92. Born and raised in Stoneham, she moved to Melrose 15 years ago and lived in the Steele House. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny (Milliken) Chambers. Devoted wife of the late Theodore Peabody, Sr. Loving mother of Jeanne M. Murphy of Melrose, Theodore Peabody, Jr. of N. H. and Marjorie A. Martin, also of Melrose. Ruth enjoyed her 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was employed by Stoneham Laundry for whom she worked 25 years. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 9:00AM in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose. Funeral Service: Private Private
