Sandra J. Bingham passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on May 3rd, after a brief illness. Sandra was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Marys Grammar School & Melrose High School, Class of 1974. Sandra has been a resident of Nahant for over 30 years. She was a homemaker and had worked at Middlesex Fells Nursing Home in Melrose for several years. Sandra was the daughter of the late Robert J. & Muriel A. (Sheedy) Bingham. Sister of Robert J. Bingham Jr. & his wife Beverly of Mashpee, John Jeffrey Bingham & his wife Sheila of Melrose, Margaret R. Barile & her husband Francis J. of Nahant and the late David A. Bingham. Longtime loving companion of Dean Locke Jr. of Nahant. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, on Friday May 6th at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours & burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the PFC David A.
