Sharon L. (Donoghue) Doyle, of Melrose, died at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading after a lengthy illness on April 27, 2013 at the age of 55. Sharon was born in Everett, raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1975. She was a homemaker and resided in Melrose since 1964. Sharon was an animal lover who had many dogs, cats and horses. She enjoyed camping with her family in Freeport, ME, Virginia and Florida. Sharon attended knitting class at the Northeast Regional Vocational School in Wakefield. She was the beloved wife of Brian R. Doyle of Melrose for 27 years. Loving mother of Joshua D. Doyle of Melrose. Devoted daughter of the late James J. & Norma L. (Walkey) Donoghue. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday May 1st from 5-8PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday Morning at 11AM at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Relatives & friends respectfully invited.
