Shirley E, (Keating ) Delano, 64, died at Mass General Hospital Boston after short illness. Born and raised in Melrose, she graduated from Melrose High School Class of 1955. Shirley was a secretary at Joy Realty Co, Boston, for 10 years and retired for health reasons in Nov. of 2001. She had lived in Everett for 16 years prior to moving to Malden 16 years ago. Shirley was the daughter of the late Robert & Beatrice ( Thibault ) Keating. Mother of Linda G. Littlefield of ME and David M. Delano of Wakefield. Grandmother of Philip, Tara, David and Michael. Sister of Barbara Baggs of ME, Beverly Kelloway of Beverly and Janice Champion of ME. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Tues July 30 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 1155 Main St Wakefield at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visitng hours Monday 4 - 8 PM.
